Local Area Information

Green Farm House sits in the rural village of Highleadon, North East Gloucestershire. We sit in the middle of three AONBs. Namely the Malvern Hills to the North, the Cotswold Hills to the East and Mayhill to the West.  The Royal Forest of Dean is also only 20 minutes away with many waymarked trails and the beautiful river Wye flowing through it.

The small market town of Newent is about 3 miles away where you can buy most of your needs. Slightly further away, 6 miles in the opposite direction, is the city of Gloucester which has the famous Gloucester cathedral where Harry Potter was filmed. Gloucester has many facilities including a leisure centre, cinemas and The Gloucester Quays Outlet Centre situated in part of the historical Gloucester Docks.

Green Farm House in Highleadon is an ideal base for the Three Counties Showground and Cheltenham Race Course particularly for  Gold Cup week. (Special rates  apply).
